My aunt was talking to my sister about my cousin again and I started to wonder what was the underlying cause of him being a problematic teenager or should I say, problematic adult-to-be.

I remembered, when we ( Me, my sis, him, his brother) were younger, the relatives were always gushing over him because well, he was the cleverest and probably the best looking children among all of us and not to mention, extremely obedient. We were very close because of our age, he's a 1991 baby, his brother and I 1992 and my sister 1993. We did almost everything together, playing or studying and he's always the leader, the big brother.

Things started changing when he started attending secondary school. Nobody really knows what caused the changed. I still remembered that faithful night when I lost all respect for him. As he got older, the situation grew more and more out of hand. I doubt he actually care about his family anymore.

Its so sad to witness somebody falling into a pit of no return and all you can do is to watch helplessly.

On a happier note, I am going to fill this post with some pictures.

So what is the definition of friends?

If you google, it gives you this:
1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
2. A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.

No, that is not the true meaning of friendship.
Friends or friendship is probably more to that.

To me, a true friend stands by you no matter what, listens to whatever you have to say no matter what it is, how important it is. They will never judge you, put you down, care what other people thinks about you. Most importantly? They will stick up for you when you are being put down and will never stab you behind your back. In summary, they trust and understand you for what you are, who you are.

Imagine how difficult it is to be friends with people who
1) Back stab you in front and behind of you
2) Are obsessive with their boyfriend and do not want any of her other friends to be associated with him
3) Is always neutral when you are being put down by others
4) Only side with her other friend because in her eyes, that other girl is always right
5) Of all things worst, do not understand you.

Seriously? If its me, I would have broken down long ago. Isn't friends suppose to be there giving you support when you need them? They are like clutches when you broke your legs or a hand that pulls you up when you lose your footing and falls into a freaking drain. Good friend makes everything seems easier.

But bad friends that ditches you can only make you stronger, because now, you learn how to bear with all the pain and continue walking down that path of life with your own means. Because now, you learn how to remove yourself from the plight by using your own ways to leave that drain. And because now, you know who they really are.

Ditch the bad ones, find the good ones. When you know that you have found a true friend, hold on to him or her and never let go.

I give my condolences to those who thinks that they have already found their true friends when in fact they are not. You think she is a true friend because you idolised her.
Also, boyfriend is never your true friend, stop thinking that they can do both job by being your boyfriend and a best friend. When they leave you, it will be too late to realise you now have neither a boyfriend nor a best friend.
Stop being so obsessive and start to give a damn to your friends too.
For some, stop trying to break others friendship because you will never find a place to fit and karma will follow you, everywhere you go.

Only after this trip did I realized Dino's level of hate for roller coasters.

It is equivalent to me hating exams + ice creams + cakes + nagging + waking up in the morning + being in the sun all sweaty and tired + having no money ALL COMBINED

I finally met QQ after 3 months! This goes to show how little life I had during school terms.

A typical day = (School, tuition, home) for about 4 times a week. It doesn't help much when Dino is also busy with his school work so our usual hangout place is also, my house. Haha.

Our first 3D movie, Kung Fu Panda 2. HAHAHA

I realized I am quite slow because even my mum, dad, sis and little brother had all watched 3D movie before me! HOW NO LIFE AM I. D:

Gogo curry. Quite nice though the colour of the curry looks like poop. Its dark brown!

Anyway, Flea market this weekend. I can't wait! One bad news about the flea, there will be no shelter provided. WHY! At first, they said there is and now they say no more! !@%^&* Very angry. :@

Victoria Jomo Clothes Buffet

We were really suay yesterday. We reached bugis at about 9.35 a.m. and its was raining cats and dogs!
We only had ONE little pathetically small umbrella to share among 3 of us and the rain was so heavy. All of us were wet in the end and it was a pretty amusing sight.

We gave up in the end and seek refuge at a bus stop. =.=
By the time we were there, the queue was crazy! (Obviously, it doesn't show in the photo)
Grabbed 6 pieces of clothes. ^^

I went home telling my mummy about the clothes buffet and she was pissed like mad cause I bought something AGAIN. But then at night, she came back into my room and looked through all the clothes again and said it was quite worth it. SERIOUSLY?! AFTER NAGGING AT ME FOR ONE WHOLE EVEINING AND NIGHT, MAKING ME FEELING ALL GUILTY AND STUFF, SHE SAID THAT?!

Went to oakhammarket after that and queued again. Singapore everywhere got queue, so angry.

Dino was back from Indonesia and met me and my sister at Ion.

That marks the end of the day cause we were really tired so we went back home at about 6.

It is very important to be kiasu when going for events because thats the trait in every Singaporean's blood. No kiasu = lose. Meh.

Last day of internship! Honestly, I guess I'll miss sitting in the office with the events people and running around the RP campus for recees and events. Having the same food for lunch everyday, going for teabreak, drinking hot milo, eating ice kachang and stuff like that.

GENTING AND KL TRIP!

20th December 2010

This was our schedule for our trip!

We reached the queen street terminal at around 6.15a.m. in the morning.

Super sleepy and everything. We boarded those two storey buses and we were sitting downstairs.

Reached Genting around 12 noon or something and took the queue ticket for check-in stuff which only starts at 2. So we hopped off for very expensive bak kut teh. HAHA.

Anyway, Genting was really empty during that period.

21st December 2010

Reached the Genting bus terminal at 9 for our bus to KL and for breakfast

This was our hotel in KL. SUPER LOVE IT!
The people were really helpful (other than the one that gave us wrong directions to PWTC because there were 2 PWTC and he thought we were referring to the shopping one. NO!)

We dropped our luggages and slack for abit in the hotel before our shopping trip at Sungei Wang Plaza
The hotel was really convenient cause the LRT station was just beside the hotel!

We have to change train at Huang Tah station (can't really remember the station name so might be wrong) to the KL monorail. That one was mad crazy. Everybody squeezed as if they were in Japan subway.

So anyway, we went back to the hotel when the time was close to 7pm.
MAD CROWDED! PEAK PERIOD MAN.

So anyway, we made it back to the hotel alive for our dinner that we take-away from Sungei Wang.

First year anniversary!

Genting + KL trip post up next!

Ok, so life is really unpredictable.

One moment, you are walking and the next, you might find yourself lying by the roadside.

Anyway, I was having flu and crap on friday and I thought I was really unlucky because my Genting and KL trip is just 3 days away and I freaking cannot afford to be sick.
So, being a good and sensible girl, I took my medicine and went to bed early hoping it will die down the next day.

I felt a little worst the next day. Note that I said a little worst, so its actually not very sick.
But, I decided to pay the doctor a visit to get some medicine in case my flu got worst while on holiday. ( I think I really know how to take care of myself uh)
I felt perfectly fine after seeing the doctor and went to the money changer to change some money for the trip and also hopped off to the bookstore to buy stamps with my sister and stopping by the hawker to take away breakfast for my mother.

So, while on the way home, we have to cross these two traffic light.
At the first one, I was telling my sister I'm starting to feel really unwell because everything seems really bright.
The green man was up and we were crossing the road and thats when I lost conscious. I remembered rolling on my side in the middle of the road and I asked my sister "Am I dreaming?" which I came to realise, WTF I'M NOT. I quickly picked myself up and finished that little remaining stretch of road. And no, I didn't feel embarrassed or anything because I didn't even notice there were other passer-by around me.

My sister was asking me whether I'm alright before we cross the second traffic light. I think she's afraid the same thing might happen again. Since I can walk to this traffic light, I deemed it was ok to continue crossing the other one.

Ok, so this one was a little more terrifying than the previous one.
I couldn't remember myself even crossing that long stretch of road and when I woke up, I was lying on the other side of the road and my sister was crying like a three year old baby.
A police car stopped by the roadside and two policemen came over and started questioning me whether I had hit my head when I fainted. Anyway, I said no because I cannot feel any freaking pain but my sister was screaming at the policemen saying I did. Anyway, they sent us home and while on the police car, I realized I had a super ultra big swelling on the back of my head.

So thinking back now, the police were really absurd. The moment I black out, I cannot remember what happen next right, cause my brain shut down, thats why I fainted right! I mean if I knew I was falling, based on common sense, I will cushion the fall with my hands! So how would I know how I fell and whether I had hurt any parts of my body! Oh, and nobody tried to help when I fainted. NO FUCKING BODY. Singaporeans..... Sigh. There were so many passer-by, so many.

Anyway, the police asked my mum if I needed to go to the hospital for check up and my mum who was suffering from shocked said no. But, I was still sent to the hospital in the end and was hospitalised to observe my condition because that bump on my head could be something serious.

Anyway, it was nothing serious. Had some cuts on my elbow and knee and my shoulders are aching and the bump still hurts, but its nothing serious. The doctor said I had too much white blood cell and they eat red blood cell so blah blah blah. Got to go for blood test 2 weeks later. Hope its nothing related to blood cancer and stuff. Tsk.

Anyway, my new tuition assignment was an indian boy, who can apparently speak chinese.

On a random sidenote, I think god/buddha/fairy/immortal has been very good to me.
My life is back on track and smooth sailing since I left secondary school.
I have super adorable and loving parents and siblings, an awesome and probably hard-to-come-by boyfriend, many non-hypocritical, real and fun friends. Basically, always meeting awesome people in my life, even the strangers.

AND ALWAYS, getting well-paid tuition assignment despite the fact that I'm still a Poly student.

I kind of don't fancy tumblr.

So, this is my favorite flower.

My brother brought back a stalk of sunflower back home from school.
Each primary 4 classes will grow their own sunflowers in school, and since this school year has ended and nobody will take care of the flowers during the holidays, the students were encouraged to bring them back, or they die, in the garbage.

We planted the sunflower in our own pot, and now it looks like it's dying.
I think it needs more sunlight because my mummy put it at one corner where it receives nothing!
I just move the whole damn pot to somewhere with LOADS of SUNLIGHT, and hopefully it'll bloom soon!

On a heavier note,
my mum and brother will be flying to China tomorrow for around 2 weeks.
Got to do household chores!

P.s.: I think I'll miss them. D:

Met Dino after school at Woodlands after school. Hate the fact that his school always end so late!
Our initial plan was to go for the dimsum buffet at Plaza Sing, but called off the idea due to time constraints.

Bought tickets for paranormal activity 2 and spent some time strolling in carrefour buying chips and drinks for our movie. The theater was surprisingly scant that day by the way.

I was amazed by this plastic coconut.

Anyway, if you hated Paranormal Activity, don't bother watching Paranormal Activity 2.
If you love paranormal activity, you might not want to watch the sequel because you might be disappointed now that you can predict what might happen in the show after your experience with the first one.
